Please join us for another year of the HM Commercial Ride for Autism, a unique cycling event winding through the vineyards of east Kelowna.
We are very proud that over the last 7 years, our efforts have helped raise over $300,000 for autism charities. In 2017, we partnered with the Canucks Autism Network (CAN) and are thrilled to see that virtually 100% of the funds we raise together are now being used to create programs supporting over 250 kids in sports programs. CAN’s approach is to help kids on the autism spectrum learn social skills through competing in sports and other healthy activities and it really works!
A HUGE thanks to all of you that have helped support us along the way.
Our goal from the beginning has been to help kids develop the skills in order to have meaningful employment, and lead productive lives.
This year with the support of CAN, The Okanagan Innovation Centre and Canada Learning Code, we will be starting a job creation program and high-tech development work camp. To say that I am super excited is an understatement, and I would like to express my sincere thanks and gratitude to my friends, family and all of you that have supported me in this cause, including CAN, Canada Learning Code and The Okanagan Innovation Centre (special thanks to Jeff Keen for helping to make this happen).
Please join us for another day of great riding, food, entertainment and all for a great cause for the HM Commercial Ride for Autism on May 11th.
This fun-filled day of cycling will start and end at the Vibrant Vine and take you through the orchards and wineries of the Okanagan, complete with team challenges and wine and cider tastings. After the ride, join us for a celebratory dinner catered by Urban Fare, where you can win great prizes, and bid on fabulous items in the silent auction.
