Ride For Autism
Again, in 2019, HM Commercial was the title sponsor for the HM Ride for Autism. This annual event is a fun day of cycling through the vineyards of East Kelowna, with this year’s ride starting at the Vibrant Vine.
We are very proud that over the last 7 years, our efforts have helped raise nearly $400,000 for autism charities. In 2017, we partnered with the Canucks Autism Network (CAN) and are thrilled to see that virtually 100% of the funds we raise together are now being used to create programs supporting over 250 kids in sports programs.
Our goal from the beginning has been to help kids develop the skills in order to have meaningful employment and lead successful, productive lives.
This year with the support of CAN, The Okanagan Innovation Centre and Canada Learning Code, we will be starting a job creation program and high-tech development work camp. We are so thrilled for this and would like to sincerely thank these organizations for helping make this all possible.
